Ajay Devgn is on a roll. For the last few days, he has been busy promoting his upcoming film Singham Again. Post which, his long-delayed psychological thriller with director Anees Bazmee will be released. And now the actor has announced another film titled ‘Azaad’.

The movie starring Ajay Devgn and Diana Penty will also be the launching pad for Raveena tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani and his own nephew Aaman Devgan. The film will hit the screen in January 2025. Teaser of the Abhishek Kapoor directorial will be played in theatres with big Diwali releases including Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Ajay Devgn and other members of the team shared the film’s title alongside a poster that shows a man riding a black horse. In the caption, they wrote, “Kahaani yaari ki. Kahaani wafadaari ki. Kahaani #Azaad ki! 🐎AzaadTeaser is premiering exclusively in cinemas this Diwali. A big screen adventure coming in Cinemas January 2025!”

Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, celebrated for acclaimed films like Kai Po Che, Kedarnath, Rock On and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Azaad promises to be another captivating cinematic saga. Though not much is known about the project, the caption suggests that it’s going to be a tale of friendship, loyalty, and freedom. It will be produced by industry stalwarts Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor.
