Air India has received the Directorate General of Civil Aviation’s (DGCA) approval to modify aircraft interiors in-house, marking a key milestone in its fleet revamp and expansion plans. Owned by the Tata Group, the full-service airline is collaborating with Tata Technologies to elevate cabin interiors, promising enhanced comfort and style for passengers.

This move supports Air India’s commitment to delivering an improved in-flight experience as the airline works towards expanded operations and a refreshed fleet.
“DOA is a transformative step towards enhancing Air India’s in-house capabilities, which has been bolstered by decisions to set up its own engineering, maintenance and training facilities. This will enhance operational efficiency and make the airline more self-reliant,” it added.Future Plans Of Services For Other Airlines: DGCA
