Bigg Boss 18 contestant Vivian Dsena was misunderstood by people, who often compared him to the kind of characters he played. He was thought to be aggressive, short-tempered and rude because of his introvert nature. However, the actor decided to participate in the popular reality show to showcase his lesser-known side. And within a month of his participation, audience learned much about his life, changing their perception.

Few days ago, Vivian talked about his first meeting with wife Nouran Aly. And now he has made another revelation about his past. While talking to co-contestant Arfeen Khan, Vivian shared about a dark phase when he was dependent on Alcohol. “I used to drink alcohol once upon a time due to some psychological turmoil that came in my life. By god’s grace I did not go to any psychiatrist…I did not go to any doctor, nor did I take any medications. I quit drinking after those odd years and too that within one day,” revealed Vivian

He went on to share how he has not consumed it since that day. “By the mercy of Allah, that was the last day I touched alcohol. Today’s it’s been six years and I have not a sip of alcohol.”

During the conversation, Arfeen, who is a mind coach by profession and has worked with actors such as Hritik Roshan, Bhumi Pednekar, asked him about the trigger that made him stop. Vivian replied, “Nahi peena mujhe. Usse mera nuksaan ho raha tha. Kyuki wo mujhe ek alag insaan bana raha tha. Meri personality change ho rahi thi. (I don’t want to drink. It was causing me harm. It was making me a different person. My personality was changing because of alcohol).

Though Vivian no longer drinks, he occasionally smokes. When Arfeen inquired about quitting smoking, he said, “Main peeta nahi tha. Par recently, mere business me stress aagya, toh maine cigarette peeni shuru kardi.” (I wasn’t a smoker, but recent business stress led me to start.)

Meanwhile, Vivian is emerging as one of the strongest contestants of the Bigg Bogg 18 house. He was introduced as one of the finalists of this season by Bigg Boss and it seems like the prediction will come true.
