White Knight Corps of the Indian Army informed that they have eliminated three terrorists during their search operation in Akhnoor. White Knight Corps posted on X and wrote, “After round the clock surveillance throughout the night, an intense firefight unfolded today morning resulting in a significant victory for our forces. Relentless operations and tactical excellence has led to the elimination of three terrorists. The operation also saw the successful recovery of war-like stores, marking a critical step in maintaining security in the region.”
This success was achieved on the second day of search operation in Akhnoor, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation was continued on the second day, following an encounter where one terrorist was gunned down yesterday. Two other terrorists were on run after firing upon an Army convoy near Asan, Sunderbani Sector.
Indian Army dog Phantom also lost its live during the search operation. White Knight Corps saluted the sacrifice of Phantom and called it a ‘supreme’ sacrifice.
White Knight Corps wrote on X, “We salute the supreme sacrifice of our true hero—a valiant #IndianArmy Dog, #Phantom. As our troops were closing in on the trapped terrorists, #Phantom drew enemy fire, sustaining fatal injuries. His courage, loyalty, and dedication will never be forgotten. In the ongoing operation, one terrorist has been neutralized and Warlike stores have been recovered thus far.”
