On the doubts of some people regarding the importance of voting, she said, “I know sometimes in Texas folks wonder, ‘Is it worth it? Does it make a difference?’ Yes, it does.”
She ended her speech with a biblical reference, highlighting, “We know weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
