Jr NTR, who is currently basking in the grand success of his movie ‘Devara’, will soon step into Bollywood. The actor will be seen in ‘War 2’ with Hrithik Roshan and has already kickstarted shooting for the project in Mumbai. His look from ‘War 2’ has surfaced on social media and fans are already looking forward to seeing him on the big screen again. 

The ‘RRR’ star can be seen sporting a rugged look for ‘War 2’, which is similar to Hrithik Roshan’s look in the previous instalment. As per reports, Jr NTR will be seen as an antagonist in the film and will go against Hrithik. 

Earlier, while speaking to Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt for a fun chat, the actor revealed having some creative conflicts with film’s director Ayan Mukerji. He shared, “When I was shooting for War 2, Ayan did not know what was going to come. Because he was trying to bring it out from me, that’s how this was going to come out. I told him, ‘Ayan, I am very instinctive; kuch na kuch aa jayega (something will come).’ Now, he is not used to doing this at all; he loves prep, and I am completely the opposite. And then Adi Sir was there in between, who said, ‘It’s ok, it’s ok, I get it’.”

He added, “Too much prep doesn’t give you the chance to explore yourself. South Indian films (sets) have always been chaotically organized. Like, if the prints have to come tomorrow, the team will still ask for one extra hour because they want to make some changes in the edit. The clock is ticking; the prints have to be delivered, but you are still working on the film.”

‘War 2’ will also star Kiara Advani in the lead role but the official confirmation is still awaited. The movie will release in theatres in 2025. Hrithik Roshan earlier made a cameo appearance in ‘Tiger 3’, which is part of YRF Spy Universe. Other films in this universe are- ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and the upcoming Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Alpha’. 

On the work front, Jr NTR was last seen in ‘Devara’ with Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.
