Ayush Badoni played a great innings for India A as they comprehensively thrashed Oman by six wickets in Al Amerat, during the ongoing ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup on Wednesday. Oman elected to bat first in the match after the toss at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground. Jatinder Singh of Oman and Aamir Kaleem gave a decent start as their partnership of 21 runs opened up.There was another performer who proved himself in good books with the bat for Oman, and that was Mohammad Nadeem he helped his team achieve a total of 140/5 in their innings. Hammad Mirza and Sandeep Goud were at the crease by the end, adding valuable runs to the scoreboard.
India A bowling was great as they restricted Oman at 140 runs. Aaqib Khan, Rasikh Salam, Nishant Sindhu, and Ramandeep Singh and Sai Kishore all picked one wicket. Abhishek Sharma, and Tilak Varma gave India A a good platform from the very beginning.
Oman’s bowling attack never seemed to get any rhythm and failed to pick some early wickets due to which they were not able to defend the total. Badoni was in good touch as he scored 51 runs off 27 balls, thereby bagging the ‘Player of the Match’ title.
