India Vs Bangladesh, 3rd T20I: Sanju Samson’s Explosive Ton Leads India To Record-Breaking Victory Over Bangladesh!

India convincingly conqured Bangladesh by a mammoth 133 runs during the 3rd T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, breaking the record by posting the highest T20I score by a Test-playing country: 297/6 which hampered Bangladesh in a run-chase.

Samson, SKY Shine!

Sanju Samson scored his century off just 40 balls, adding greatly to a 173-run stand with Suryakumar Yadav. His innings featured eight sixes and 11 fours, while Yadav’s consisted of four sixes and 6 fours as he made 75. Hardik Pandya contributed to the onslaught, scoring 47 off 18, while Riyan Parag added 34 from just 13 deliveries for India, which put up a humongous score.

Bangladesh Had A Tough Ride

All Bangladesh could do was score 164 runs, whose last match for the national side Mahmudullah Riyad played. Mahmudullah could score only eight runs before Mayank Yadav dismissed him. The pressure created a fallout from the minds of the batters as they were not able to keep up with the aggression that the Indians were playing with.

Match Details

India captain Suryakumar Yadav chose to bat after winning the toss for the rescheduled ICC ODI Cricket World Super League one-dayer against Bangladesh. Ravi Bishnoi replaces Arshdeep Singh for India. Bangladesh also makes two changes. India would look to make it three successive wins in the series after two previous victories as it was more of a virtual final.

Future Concerns For The Indian Team

With the ICC event next year in mind, the Indian management, led by Gambhir, would naturally be interested in identifying who might fill the gap left by the underperforming players. While Samson was struggling to get into any sort of a groove, Abhishek too had had his share of bad days at work in the preceding matches. So there will be an eye on building strength around the mainstay.

Farewell Mahmudullah

Former Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah has announced his retirement from T20I cricket ahead of the match, stating that he wants to concentrate on ODIs as the team prepares itself for further competitions. He informed the coaching staff regarding the same and said he is confident of shifting gears from T20s for the benefit of the team.

This was a thrilling T20I showing the full extent of India’s sharp dynamic batting and their skill in thought-outer strategies, leaving the fans eagerly looking forward to more encounters as they push for the glory of the big world stage.

Brief Scores: India 297/6 in 20 overs (Sanju Samson 111, Suryakumar Yadav 75; Tanzim Hasan 3-66, Mahmudullah 1-26) beat Bangladesh 164 for 7 (Towhid Hridoy 63*, Litton Das 42; Ravi Bishnoi 3-30, Mayank Yadav 2-32) by 133 runs
