Anita Hassanandani took to Instagram on Monday to wish her co-star from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Karan Patel, on his birthday. Anita shared a throwback picture with her co-star on Instagram and wrote, “Meraaa forever paagal sachhhaaaa dost! Happiest birthday @karan9198 I loveeee youuu! (sic).”

Karan Patel starred with Anita Hassanandani in Ekta Kapoor’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, which went on air in 2013. The show continued for six years and went off-air in 2019. The show also starred Divyanaka Tripathi as the lead actress. Her character in the television series was called Dr Ishita Iyer. Anita played the role of Karan’s estranged wife, Shagun, on the show. In December 2019, Yeh Hai Chahatein, a spin-off of YHM was launched. Divyanka Tripathi appeared in the initial episodes of the show.

On Diwali, Ekta Kapoor hosted a party at her Mumbai residence which was attended by her close friends. Karan Patel attended the party with his wife Ankita Bhargava. Anita Hassanandani, who is a close friend of Ekta and has starred in several films and serials produced by her, attended the party with husband Rohit Reddy.

Anita Hassandani is expecting her first baby with husband Rohit Reddy. She announced her pregnancy in a post on social media in October.
