Shweta Tiwari became a household name after her appearance as Prerna in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The show was one of the longest running Indian serials on television. It went on-air in 2001 and ended in 2008. The show also starred Cezanne Khan, Urvashi Dholakia, Ronit Roy, Hiten Tejawani, Karan Singh Bohra. She has also starred in serials like Begusarai, Naaginn, Seeta Aur Geeta, Adaalat, Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, Ek Thhi Naayka and Parvarrish Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi.

Shweta Tiwari is currently part of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, which airs on Sony TV. The show also stars Varun Badola.
