The Special Cell of Delhi Police has captured Rizwan Ali, a prominent terrorist linked to the ISIS module, just days before Independence Day. As per reports, Ali was apprehended on August 8, 2024, around 11 pm near Ganga Baksh Marg, Delhi. Authorities recovered a Star pistol with a .30 bore, three live cartridges, and two mobile phones from his possession. A case has been filed at PS Special Cell, Delhi.

Bounty And Background

Rizwan Ali,  prominent terrorist and resident of Daryaganj in Delhi, had a ₹3 lakh bounty on his head, announced by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for his involvement in terror activities. He was affiliated with the ISIS Pune Module and had been on the run. His presence in Delhi prior to Independence Day is under investigation.
