AR Rahman’s son AR Ameen escapes injury as chandeliers fall on set, shares shocking before and after pics

Just a day after singer Benny Dayal sustained injuries due to being hit by a drone at a concert, music composer AR Rahman’s son AR Ameen revealed that he too narrowly escaped an accident on sets a few days ago.
AR Ameen shares about a set mishap
Taking to Instagram, the Maula Wa Sallim singer revealed that chandeliers, which had been suspended above him via cranes, came crashing down on the sets where he was performing. While Ameen did not sustain any injuries from the incident, he revealed that he is still traumatized by the mishap. Posting before and after pictures from the sets, he wrote, “I am thankful to the Almighty, my parents, family, well-wishers, and my spiritual teacher that I am safe and alive today. Just three nights ago, I was shooting for a song and I trusted the team to have taken care of the engineering and safety, while I was focusing on performing in front of the camera.”
The playback singer further added, “The whole truss and chandeliers that were suspended from a crane came crashing down while I was right in the middle of the spot. If it were a few inches here and there, a few seconds earlier or later, the whole rig would have fallen on our heads. My team and I are shell-shocked and unable to recover from the trauma.”
This news comes just days after Badtameez Dil singer Benny Dayal suffered from injuries after being struck by a drone when performing in Chennai.
After he shared his experience, many came forward to extend their support. The singer’s sister Raheema Rahman wrote, “God’s grace, my brother. We are here for you.” Even fellow playback singer Hriday Gattani commented along with a bunch of emojis, “Thank god you are okay brother!”
