AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s relative died by suicide on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Dr Mazahar Ali Khan. Later, he succumbed to the bullet injury. Khan reportedly shot himself with a gun at his residence in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills.
After Khan shot himself, he was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospital at Jubilee Hills by his family members at around 2 pm on Monday. He took the extreme step reportedly due to a dispute. He had a wound on the right side of the head.
According to reports, after getting information about the incident, the AIMIM chief and his brother also reached the hospital. The exact reason why he took the extreme step is still not known. The police have launched detailed investigation in the matter.
