After attack on Sonu Nigam, Chembur Festival organiser Suprada Phaterpekar DEFENDS brother

Sonu Nigam’s music concert at the Chembur festival has become a hot topic of discussion on social media. For the unversed, Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Phaterpekar’s son Swapnil Phaterpekar allegedly tried to click a selfie after the concert of the playback singer in Chembur. When his bodyguards wouldn’t let him click selfies with the singer, he tried to manhandle the Sonu as well as his bodyguards. During this brawl, Sonu Nigam’s staff got injured and was rushed to the hospital. Amidst all, Chembur Festival’s organiser and sister of accused Swapnil Phaterpekar, Suprada Phaterpekar has come out in support of her brother on social media.

Suprada Phaterpekar took to Twitter and shed light on some facts that are being ignored by many people. She stated that she apologised to Sonu Nigam and his team for the incident and urged people not to believe false rumours.
In the first tweet, Suprada tweeted, “As organiser of the Chembur festival, I wish to shed light on some facts about the unfortunate incident that occurred at the end of Chembur Festival 2023. While Shri Sonu Nigam was being hurriedly ushered off the stage after delivering his performance 
About Sonu Nigam’s controversy at the Chembur Festival
For the unversed, Sonu Nigam’s colleagues Hariprakash and Rabbani Khan got injured in the brawl. A case has been registered under IPC sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 337 (causing hurt by an act endangering the life or personal safety of others) on the basis of singer Sonu Nigam’s complaint.
Fortunately, Sonu Nigam remained unhurt, and his fans are now getting curious to know his next step about the controversy that happened in Chembur during his live concert!
