The movie, helmed by Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin, also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. Project K release date announced
On Saturday, the makers of the sci-fi film finally made a big announcement about its release date. They picked the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri for this.
Fans simply couldn’t keep calm after the announcement. Reacting to Prabhas’ Instagram post, a fan commented, “This time King will conquer worldwide box office. Another wrote, “This one is going to be epic.” One of his admirers commented, “World is also waiting for mass comeback.”

Prabhas’ much-awaited movie marks Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone’s debut in Telugu industry. The multi-lingual film also stars Disha Patani in a key role. Reportedly, it is set in a futuristic world. If reports are to be believed, the lead actors will be seen dealing with the aftermath of World War 3 in the movie.
Last month, on Deepika’s birthday, production house Vyajayanthi movies had shared the poster of the film. It showed Deepika posing on the top of a mountain hill. Fans couldn’t see her avatar clearly as only her silhouette was visible. Now, they are waiting for a teaser.
