Drishyam 2 director Abhishek Pathak tied the knot with actress Shivaleeka Oberoi on February 9, 2023. After sharing stunning wedding pics, now the newlyweds have dropped new pictures from their mehendi ceremony and they are just too beautiful to miss. In the pictures, Shivaleeka can be seen dolled up in a light green lehenga teamed up with minimal jewellery, while Abhishek can be seen sporting a white traditional wear teamed up with a printed jacket.

Drishyam 2 director Abhishek Pathak and Shivaleeka Oberoi took to their respective Instagram handle to share some stunning glimpses from their mehendi ceremony. In one of the pictures, the groom is seen kissing his bride’s cheeks while in the other, they can be seen sitting on a bridal-themed swing. Apart from their outfits, it was Shivaleeka’s customised unique pearl passa grabbed our attention. The huge peal passa comes with intricate detailing and fits perfectly with her outfit. The couple can be seen posing, smiling, and holding hands as they pose for the camera.

For the wedding, Shivaleeka opted for a red-hued lehenga, which features golden embroidery and sewuin embellishments. Abhishek, on the other hand, opted for an ivory heavily embellished sherwani paired with turban and a doshala.

Abhishek and Shivaleeka met while working on the film Khuda Haafiz, which was directed by Abhishek.
Talking about her relationship with Abhishek, Shivaleeka told Times of India, “It hasn’t been very long since we started seeing each other, but when something feels right, it’s right. Abhishek was already shooting for Drishyam 2. We found ways to spend time together despite so many restrictions over the last two years. Our friends could see that we were good for each other… So many actresses are married today, and their careers are flourishing. Work and relationships are a part of life and can sail together. Abhishek and I have also broached this subject. We’re both clear that our work life will not change because we’re planning to get married soon.”
