Ranganathan Madhavan, also known as R Madhavan, is well-known for posting intellectual thoughts on his social media accounts. However, he is recently getting trolled on Twitter after an old joke of his about Muslim men and polygamy went viral on social media. A video that is being resurfaced on the internet shows how Maddy cracked a joke about a Muslim man who has two wives and they both have appendix problems.

According to R Madhavan in the video, a Muslim man named Abdul visits the doctor with his wife. He tells the doctor that his wife has been having stomach pain for many days. Then, the doctor performs several tests on her and finds out that she has an appendix. He eventually surgically removes the appendix. After a few months, the same man returns to the doctor, telling him that his wife is experiencing the same pain and has requested that an appendectomy be performed. The doctor gets miffed with Abdul and says that he can’t perform surgery as he has already removed the appendix from his wife’s stomach. That is when Abdul replies that every human being can have one appendix, but a man can have two wives.
