Budget 2023 has an RRR connection. Harsh Goenka explains why he calls it a ‘Naatu Naatu’ budget

Harsh Vardhan Goenka, the current chairman of the RPG Group Conglomerate, who is known for his social media wit and humour has reacted to Budget 2023, which was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today, February 1, at the Lok Sabha. Goenka drew allusions between the Union Budget and SS Rajamouli‘s magnum opus RRR, which is creating waves at the international cinema awards circle.

RPG head Harsh Goenka reacted to Union Budget 2023, calling it a ‘Naatu Naatu’ budget on social media. The business mogul drew parallel between the budget presented by Nirmala Sitharam and SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, explaining, why RPG loves the budget. He wrote, “Why we at RPG love this budget?It’s RRR once again! Railways, Renewables, Reforms. A Naatu Naatu budget for the whole country putting us on track to conquer the golden globe. #ExcitingTimes #Budget2023”

RRR wins international accolade
Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli’s RRR has won several international accolades. The most recent win for the film has been its inclusion at the 95th Academy Awards for Naatu Naatu under the best original song category. RRR not only won big at the Golden Globes, but also won bigat the Critics Choice Awards 2022. The magnum opus has won two awards at the prestigious award ceremony: the Best Foreign Film Award and the Best Song Award for the smash hit ‘Naatu Naatu.’
