BJP MP Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi slammed Rahul Gandhi on Monday for the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Kashmir. Dr Trivedi said that “Rahul Gandhi brought all the anti-social elements together through Bharat Jodo Yatra.”
BJP’s Sudhanshu Trivedi also said that Rahul Gandhi was able to unfurl the national flag because of the sacrifices BJP leaders did.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that Rahul Gandhi forgot to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi who abrogated Article 370 and 35A. Anurag Thakur also said that the situation in Kashmir changed completely after 2014. He said, “You saw Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi playing with snowballs in Srinagar, but they forgot to thank PM Modi who abrogated Article 370 and 35A. After 2014, the situation in Kashmir changed completely. Now there is peace and tourism has also increased.”
Anurag Thakur also said, “In Bharat Jodo Yatra, people who worked to break India were seen instead of people who united India. They should answer what Congress wants to do with such people.”
On the other hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed his supporters in Srinagar at Congress Party headquarters and addressed the concerns around his security in the trouble-torn valley on Monday.
“When I was walking, security personnel told me that you can walk across India, even in Jammu, but the four days in Kashmir, you should do it in a vehicle. I was told that if I walk on foot, they will throw grenades at me. I thought if I will go home (Kashmir) then I should walk among them. I thought I should give a chance to those who hate me to change the colour of my t-shirt to red.” Gandhi said while addressing the crowd.
“However, in this duration, Jammu and Kashmir didn’t give me a grenade, only love,” he added.
