Several BJP leaders from Haryana lined up to catch a glimpse of convicted murderer and rapist Gurmeet Ram Rahim. The BJP leaders attended the cult leader’s online satsang. The Dera Sacha Sauda chief is out on a 40-day parole and videos of the satsang have gone viral on social media.
BJP leader Manish Grover thanked Ram Rahim for organising the online satsang. Grover was also reportedly heard calling Gurmeet Ram Rahima – “Guruji”. There is no end to the political patronage for the rapist and opposition parties have slammed the BJP-led Haryana government on this.

Yesterday, the cult leader was spotted celebrating his freedom by cutting a cake with a sword during his ongoing 40-day parole.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim was released from Rohtak jail last Saturday after receiving 40-day parole from a court in Haryana. He has been serving a sentence for rape and murder in Rohtak’s Sunaria jail.
This is the second time when Ram Rahim had requested parole of 40 days to attend an event. Earlier, he was out on parole for 40 days in October 2022.
While speaking about the release of Ram Rahim, activist Brinda Adige said, “It is absolute shamelessness on the part of the Haryana government. They have done this to gain votes.”
The Dera head has been imprisoned in Haryana’s Sunaria jail since 2017, where he is serving a 20-year sentence for raping two female disciples at his ashram’s headquarters in Sirsa.
In August 2017, a special CBI court in Panchkula convicted him of raping two female followers.
