The highly anticipated trailer of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar was released by the makers on Monday. TJMM marks Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s first collaboration. Also starring Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in piviotal roles, the movie is being touted as a romantic comedy. It has been helmed by Luv Ranjan, who’s best known for Pyaar Ka Punchnama series.
TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAR TRAILER OUT
The makers of the film finally unveiled the much-awaited film’s trailer on Monday (January 23, 2023). The official trailer of the rom com shows the actors exploring modern relationships and interestingly, a happy breakup.
“Aaj kal relationship me ghusna aasaan hai, usme nikalna mushkil. Rishety jodna aasaan hai, todna mushkil,” Ranbir’s character, ‘ek makkar premika’, can be heard saying in the intro. He then bumps into a ‘jhooti premika‘ Shraddha Kapoor at a hotel. What follows is a roller coaster ride of lies, hilarious moments, family drama and more.
TJMM is set to hit the theatres on March 8, 2023. The movie has been creating buzz ever since it was announced as this is the first time RK and Shraddha will be seen together on the screen. Their fresh pairing and Luv Ranjan’s record with comedy films are the biggest highlights of the upcoming movie. The title of the movie had also sent fans into a frenzy when it was announced last year.
Recently, the makers of the movie shared a teaser and gave fans glimpses of what lies in store for them. It featured the title track which has been sung by Ranbir and Shraddha. The clip received a positive response.
