A range of domestic companies, including banking majors Axis Bank, Canara Bank, IDBI Bank, brokerage firm IIFL Securities Ltd, and pioneer of stainless steel industry Jindal Stainless Ltd, are set to announce their third-quarter earnings on January 23 (Monday).
Quarterly results mean the quarterly reports that companies provide at the end of every three months in their financial year. The term quarter means a set of four 3-month divisions of a year – Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4.
During this, every listed company presents an unaudited summary of financial statements that also includes comparative analysis of the previous quarter and year’s figures.
