India have made a rocking start to the 2nd ODI of the three-match series against New Zealand at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Stadium in Raipur. They have reduced the Black Caps to a score of 15-5 with the Indian pacers running havoc over the visitors’ batting line-up.
Mohammed Shami began proceedings in style for India with the wicket of the dangerous Finn Allen in the first over of the game. Shami has two wickets to his name so far while Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya, and Shardul Thakur have taken one scalp each so far.
New Zealand are looking to avoid becoming the record holders for the lowest score in ODI history. They are also looking to ensure they do not create a new record of themselves. New Zealand’s lowest score in ODI cricket history is 64 which came against Pakistan in 1986.
