Social media influencer and actress Rakhi Sawant has been arrested by the Amboli Police a little ago on January 19. According to the reports, Rakhi was supposed to launch her dance academy on Thursday at 3 pm, where she’s partnered with her husband Adil Khan Durrani.

Rakhi Sawant has been arrested on Thursday (January 19)b in connection with an FIR filed against her by Sherlyn Chopra last year.
Actress Sherlyn Chopra confirmed the news and tweeted, “Amboli Police has arrested Rakhi Sawant in respect of FIR 883/2022. Yesterday, Rakhi Sawant’s ABA 1870/2022 was rejected by the Mumbai session court.”
The Mumbai Police said that upon the complaint of Chopra, an FIR was registered against Rakhi Sawant under multiple sections IPC & IT Act. The complainant alleges that she showed an objectionable video of Chopra during a press conference and used objectionable language, as per the Mumbai Police.
Last year, Rakhi told police that Sherlyn Chopra has uploaded a video on YouTube and Instagram on November 6, 2022, in which she had made objectionable remarks against her and used abusive language.
Rakhi later told media, “I am really sad to say that due to the comments made by her about me there has been turmoil in my life. Because of her, my recent boyfriend has asked me whether there is any truth in what Sherlyn is saying, do I really have 10 boyfriends. She just came and said whatever she wanted to in the media and now I have to pay for it.”

Rakhi Sawant remained in the headlines recently after the news of her secret wedding with Adil Khan came out. Later, Rakhi revealed that she got married to Adil last year. She also took to her Instagram and shared photos of their marriage certificate which shows the wedding took place on May 29, 2022.
She told ANI, “Finally, I’m happy so excited and got married my love is 4 Ever unconditional love for you Adil,” she had captioned the post. When news agency ANI asked about rumours about her pregnancy, she had refused to comment. “No comments
