Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in Indore and hailed the Indian diaspora. PM Modi hailed the Indian diaspora as the brand ambassadors of the country and called them ‘Rashtradoots’.
PM Modi arrived in Madhya Pradesh today to attend the event and was by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and MP Governor Mangubhai Patel at the airport. President of the Republic of Suriname Chandrikapersad Santokhi, the special guest of honour for the event, and President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali, the chief guest, were present at the convention venue.
