Amid heated political argument over the Sushant Singh Rajput case and the allegations and counter allegations claiming that the AU, who allegedly called Rhea Chakraborty was ‘Aaditya Uddhav Thackeray’, Maharashtra leader and former deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar has now disclosed what the meaning of AU really is.
The political debate over AU started after Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) MP Rahul Shewale told the Parliament that Rhea Chakraborty received 44 calls from a number belonging to one ‘AU’. Shiv Sena’s political opposition including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) joined hands in claiming that the said AU was ‘Aaditya Uddhav Thackeray’, the son of Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, and former Maharashtra minister.
“Rhea Charkroborty received 44 calls from AU. Bihar Police says AU means Aditya Uddhav Thackeray, What is the status of CBI probe?” Shewale said in Lok Sabha last Wednesday. He also questioned what was the status of the CBI probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput case and the investigations in the death of Disha Salian, Sushant Singh Rajput’s late manager.

“I will only say love you more. This who are not loyal at his home, in his party, we do not expect anything from such a person. They are bringing up these issues to divert our attack on CM Eknath Shinde’s land scam or insults of our state icons,” Aaditya Thackeray said in response.
Speaking to reporters outside Maharashtra Assembly on the sidelines of the winter session of Maharashtra Assembly, Ajit Pawar said that according to the information provided by Rhea Chakraborty, AU stands for ‘Ananya Udas’. According to reports, Rhea Chakraborty had, in an interview with a publication, disclosed that AU stood for Ananya Udas (Ananya Udhas).
