Taapsee Pannu says shooting Blurr with ‘almost zero vision’ was challenging; drops BTS pic

The highly-anticipated film Blurr starring Tapsee Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah in lead roles is all set release on December 9. The Ajay Bahl directorial is a Hindi-language horror film with a dash of thrill and fans are quite excited to see what they’ve in store for us.
TAAPSEE ON SHOOTING BLURR
The stunning diva Tapsee Pannu took to Instagram and dropped the behind-the-scene from her production debut Blurr. Sharing the picture, the Bollywood actress captioned, “The only way to be true to the portrayal of being blind was to be one. Half the film with almost zero vision is the new challenge #Blurr threw at me.”
She further added, “And all this when I’ve always been told an actor’s strongest weapon is to emote with eyes. #BlurrMoments”
Talking about the film, Blurr revolves around a woman and follows her struggles. It showcases how she fights back to overcome her ordeal. In the movie, Taapsee essayed the role of Gayatri, who is slowly losing her sight whilst trying to investigate the death of her twin sister.
Helmed by Ajay Bahl, the movie will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 in Hindi. Blurr is backed by Zee Studios and Outsiders Films and Echelon Productions. It has been written by Ajay Bahl and Pawan Sony.
During a coversation with an online portal, the Soorma actress said in a statement, “Thrillers form an important part of my filmography and Blurr was one such script that kept me on the edge with its screenplay and the situations the protagonist was thrown into throughout the film. That’s why it was an immediate yes when Vishal reached out to me for this project.”
Moving forward, Tapsee said, “Having shot almost half the film blindfolded I am taking back home a lot of memories and real bruises, which truly made me value the clear vision even more. After section 375 I was really looking forward to working with Ajay sir. I hope the OTT audience is ready for some thrills and chills with this one.”
