Tabassum’s childhood friend recalls old days, says ‘She was very friendly and hard working

Veteran actress and talk show host Tabassum Govil aka Baby Tabassum’s demise has indeed left her fans and celebs from the industry heartbroken. The actress passed away on November 18, 2022, due to a cardiac arrest at 78. Her prayer meet will be held on November 21 in Mumbai, where several big Bollywood celebs are expected to come to pay their last respects to the legendary actress.
TABASSUM’S CHILDHOOD FRIEND ON HER DEMISE
Amidst all, Tabassum Govil’s childhood friend Prabhakar Rajguru recently shared his reaction to Times Now Digital about the actress’ demise. The 88-year-old retired TC informed us that they would stay in the same building in Byculla in the 50s.
He recalled some fond memories of the Deedar actress from their childhood. Rajguru said, “I am shocked and heartbroken after learning about her death. She was my neighbour in Byculla. She used to stay on the third floor of our building in Mumbai. She was very friendly and hard-working since childhood. I remember she used to go for shoots when she was just a kid. She played young Nargis in Deedar. She would never come out of her house after returning from work. I also remember that she used to fondly call my wife ‘maushi’. I am very sad that I can’t attend her prayer meet due to my illness.”
For the unversed, several Bollywood celebs such as Suniel ShettyKaran Johar, David Dhawan and many others have reacted to Tabassum’s death.
Director David Dhawan also revealed that his film Swarg (1990) was Tabassum’s last film.
Tabassum is survived by her husband Vijay Govil and son Hoshang. She was also the sister-in-law of renowned actor Arun Govil
