Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani and husband Anand Piramal welcomed twin children, a boy and a girl, on November 19, said Ambani and Piramal families in a statement.
According to the press statement issued by the families, mother Isha and her twin children, baby girl Aadiya and baby boy Krishna were doing well.
“We are delighted to share that our children Isha and Anand have been blessed by the Almighty with twins on 19th November 2022. Isha and the babies, baby girl Aadiya and baby boy Krishna are doing well. We seek your blessings and good wishes for Aadiya, Krishna, Isha and Anand in this most important phase of their life,” a statement issued by the families noted.
Isha, 31, the executive director of Reliance Retail Ventures–the retail arm of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s conglomerate, got married to Anand, who runs the financial services businesses of Piramal Group, in December 2018.
Mukesh Ambani welcomed his first grandchild, Prithvi, son of Akash Ambani and wife Shloka Mehta, in December 2020.
RIL’s chairman and managing director Ambani during RIL’s 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 29 introduced Isha as the leader of his conglomerate’s retail business, detailing the succession plan for this company. He earlier named Ishan’s twin brother Akash as the chairman of the company’s telecom arm Jio.
Ambani, 65, has three children, twins Akash and Isha, and youngest son Anant. Isha is married to Anand Piramal, son of Piramal Group’s Ajay and Swati Piramal.
