Face masks no longer mandatory for passengers on flights

In view of easing Covid situation in the country, in-flight passengers on domestic and international routes will now be allowed to travel without wearing masks.
Revising its earlier guidelines, the civil aviation ministry on Wednesday said the use of masks is not compulsory during air travel.
It, however, added that passengers should preferably use them amid the declining number of coronavirus cases.
