The PMLA court in Maharashtra capital Mumbai granted the bail to Sanjay Raut in connection with Patra Chawl land scam case.

The bail has been granted on a surety of Rs 2 lakh. For long, Raut alleged he was targeted due to ‘political vendetta’ and accused the government of ‘abuse of power’.
During the hearing, Attorney General Anil Singh demanded postponement of bail execution period granted to Sanjay Raut citing Anil Deshmukh’s case. Raut had been lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail.
