Isudan Gadhvi: The famous Gujarati journalist
Gadhvi, who rose to fame and public life as a journalist, was known for his popular Doordarshan show called ‘Yojana’. He gained massive popularity in Gujarat when he was ground reporting in Porbandar for ETV.
The major highlight of his journalism career was when he exposed a Rs 150 crore scam of illegal deforestation in Dang and Kaparada talukas of Gujarat on his news show, which triggered the Gujarat government to take cognizance in the matter and eventually launch an investigation.

The assembly polls in Gujarat, BJP’s stronghold and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state, will take place from December 1 to 5 while the results will be announced on December 8.
This is the first time that AAP is contesting the elections in the so far saffron state. While the trends are largely working in BJP’s favour, AAP is likely to establish itself as a strong opposition in the state beating Congress to an extent.
AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann launched a high-pitched campaign in Modi-Shah state and managed to garner decent support from the voters. However, the party also got mingled in various controversies from black flags, to hoarding against Kejriwal calling him anti-Hindu to shameful remarks made by its party leader against PM Modi’s mother.
