Zaira Wasim

It was back in 2017 when Zaira Wasim of Dangal fame had opened up about being allegedly molested by a middle-aged man on a flight between Delhi and Mumbai. The actress had said that the man had repeatedly moved his foot up and down her neck and back when she was half-asleep.

Sushmita Sen

In a shocking revelation, Sushmita Sen had revealed of being molested by a 15-year-old boy at an awards function. The actress had said that she had grabbed the boy by his neck and taken him for a walk in front of the crowd, and told him that if she made a hue and cry about the incident, his life will be over.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone had also once spoken about being molested at the age of 14-15. Talking about the incident, the actress had said, “I remember one evening my family and I were walking down the street. We had probably finished eating at a restaurant. My sister and my father walked ahead and my mother and I were walking behind. And this man brushed past me. I could have, at that point, ignored, pretended like it didn’t happen. I turned back, followed this person, caught him by the collar – I was 14 – in the middle of the street slapped him and walked away.”

Swara Bhasker

Swara Bhasker had once revealed that she was groped at the Rajkot airport during the shoot of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in the presence of its lead star Salman Khan. The actress had said that despite the fact that there was security, people got in and it was Anupam Kher who had ensured that she got into the car.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor, too, has had to face molestation. The actress had once divulged that she was groped at the age of 13 at the Gaiety Galaxy Theatre in Mumbai, an incident  that she described as ‘traumatising.’ “There was a man who came from behind and just held my breasts like that. And obviously, I didn’t have breasts at that time. I started shaking and shivering and I didn’t know what was going on and I started crying right there,” she had said talking about the incident.
