Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor embraced motherhood for the very first time earlier this year. Sonam and her husband Anand Ahuja welcomed a baby boy on August 20, 2022, and adorably named him Vayu. Though the couple did not reveal their baby’s face yet, Vayu’s doting maasi Rhea Kapoor and his parents keep on sharing cute pictures of the little munchkin.
Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor recently shared some unseen moments with her nephew Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, where the cute little one could be spotted adorably cuddling his maasi. Vayu can also be seen twinning with his mommy.
Rhea also shared a cute picture of Vayu with his mother Sonam Kapoor from Diwali celebrations this year and captioned the post, “And back to styling my number one with my best girls. Never looked happier, better and more like herself. @sonamkapoor in @anamikakhanna.in and @re_ceremonial Happy Diwali everyone!”
Sonam and Anand also shared glimpses of their first Diwali after their son’s birth and wrote, “Diwali, or Dipawali gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that people light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects us from spiritual darkness. To us, Diwali is the celebration of happy endings and new beginnings… And we’re so full of love, light and gratitude this year to bring in Vayu’s first Diwali with family and our closest friends! Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with entrepreneur Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018. On the professional front, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actress was last seen featuring in a lead role in the 2019 movie The Zoya Factor, opposite Dulquer Salmaan.
The actress will be next seen featuring in a lead role in the upcoming crime thriller movie, Blind. Directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, this movie will also feature Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey in pivotal roles.
