Rishab Shetty written, directed, and headlined Kantara is the latest nationwide sensation. Moviegoers as well as members of the entertainment industry have been heaping tremendous praise on the action-thriller. Now, the Kantara wave has swept off Rajinikanth as well.
The superstar watched the Kannada film recently and could not contain his amazement as he took to Twitter to share his review. Thalaivar did not only laud Kantara but also acknowledged Rishab’s efforts as a writer, director, and actor.

Moved by the genuine words of praise by the Enthiran actor, Rishab expressed his earnest gratitude in a heartfelt reply. “Dear @rajinikanth sir you are biggest Superstar in India and I have been your fan since childhood. Your appreciation is my Dream come true. You inspire me to do more local stories and inspire our audiences everywhere. Thank you sir,” Rishab tweeted back.
Meanwhile, after having a stellar run at the Kannada box office, Kantara is now going strong in the Hindi belt as well. It opened on a promising note on October 14 and since then, has only went from strength to strength.
