There are rumours going around that the makers of Anupamaa have approached actress Supriya Pilgaonkar to play a significant part in the popular TV serial. In the drama, the actress was slated to portray Rupali Ganguly’s instructor. Anupamaa will soon start a new track where she will attend college to finish her education.
Supriya hopes to soon land something intriguing. She remarked that she didn’t want to play a part that she didn’t enjoy seeing. She also mentioned that she was approached shortly after her last programme, Sasural Genda Phool 2, but declined because she needed a break. Hopefully, she will return to television soon.
She dissed the rumours of joining Anupamaa in an interview with Etimes and said, “This is very surprising. It is not true. I have been reading about this news online and I am surprised how people make up stories. I have not even received a call from the production house, leave alone giving an audition. It is an interesting show and on my recent visit to London, people were asking me about it. I do watch the show but I have not been approached for it.”
Talking about the current track in Rupali’s serial Anupamaa, she will soon finish her education. She is going to Pakhi’s college from now on to finish her studies.
Anuj has inspired her to advance in life and resume her studies again. There have been rumours of a new character joining the programme for a few weeks now. It was rumoured that Anupamaa’s teacher will appear on the programme. However, Supriya has dissed the rumours of playing the part.
