Over the last few months, Sushmita Sen has found herself in the eye of the storm as far as her personal life goes. While she announced her split from model Rohman Shawl, IPL founder Lalit Modi announced that he is in a relationship with the former beauty queen. Not only did he change his display image, but also shared a series of mushy images with his lady love. Shortly after, rumours began doing the rounds that all is not well between Lalit and Sush.
Although Sushmita has maintained her silence on the matter since the beggining, the actress was snapped at a family friend’s wedding celebrations along with her daughter Alisah and Renee as well as her ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl. Sushmita looked stunning in a strappy black gown that she teamed with a sheer cape. With her hair pulled back, Sushmita rounded off her look with on-fleek brows, highlighted cheeks and tinted lips.
On the work front, Sushmita returned to the screens with hit OTT show Aarya. The show was co-directed by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi. Sushmita essayed the titular role and instantly won hearts for her strong, powerful, and impactful performance. The show also starred Chandrachur Singh, Sikandar Kher, Ankur Bhatia, Namit Das, Manish Choudhary and Sughandha Garg in pivotal roles.
With two successful seasons to her credit, the actress has begun work on her next show titled Taali. Sushmita had taken to her Instagram handle to share the first look that left everyone intruigied.
