In Amit Shah’s General Interpol Assembly speech, a mention of ‘good terrorism and bad terrorism’

Union Home Minister Amit Shah  said that the world needs to find a global definition of terrorism and it is an imminent need to fight terrorism on a global level. He added that the narratives of good terrorism, bad terrorism, and small and bad terrorism cannot go together. The BJP veteran was addressing the valedictory ceremony of the 90th Annual General Assembly of Interpol where he reiterated that India has and will always stand against global terrorist activities.
The Home Minister said India has advised Interpol to establish a real-time information-action network against terrorism activities. “India has always stood with anti-terrorism activities worldwide,” he said.
“Crime has now become borderless. We have to think above conventional geographical crimes. Across-border cooperation is necessary to fight cross-border terrorism. Interpol is essential for it. A global definition of terrorism is important. Narratives of good terrorism, bad terrorism, small terrorism and big terrorism cannot go together,” added Shah.
Shah also informed that India is closely monitoring cyber-crimes and has set up the Indian Cyber Forensic Centre to keep a check on rising internet-related transgressions. The home minister also called terrorism the biggest violator of human rights.
