I stand by my words’: VHP leader justifies hate speech hailing attack on namazis

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) joint general secretary Surendra Jain sparked a row after he claimed that Muslims are doing ‘love jihad’ and ‘land jihad’ and are trying to convert India into an Islamic country. Further, he had also glorified the attack on namazis in Gurugram’s Bhora Kalan and even said, ‘ghar me ghus ke marenge.’
“Ghar me ghus kar marenge. Vaha police pit kar aati hai aur humare bajrangi waha peet kar aate hai. Humara sankalp hai ki yadi tum Bharat ka ek aur bantwara karoge to dhyan kr lena tumhara mukabla Bajrang Dal se hoga,” Jain said while addressing a gathering in Manesar.
Now, while speaking Jain said that he still stands by his words and tried to justified his speech saying he did not take law in his hands, only threatened Muslims.
Jain said, “I still stand by every single word that I said. I have not said anything wrong. When cows are butchered and cops go there to arrest them, they are thrashed and even a DSP rank officer was killed in Mewat. Hindu girls are abducted in broad daylight. There are FIRs against the same. Despite that, they continue to defame Hindus. What happened in Bhora Kalan? Two Muslim families came to the area around 12-13 years back and said that they would live peacefully and there was a written agreement stating that no maulvi will be brought to the area. Despite that, maulvis started coming.”

VHP leader justifies his remark

Jain had also said that if need be, he and VHP workers will take up arms to protect ‘Hindu Dharm’. “We do not want to remove Muslims from India but we would not tolerate slogans like ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ or things like ‘Land Jihad’ or ‘Love Jihad’. Today, more than 10 lakh VHP workers have taken up the responsibility of protecting ‘Hindu Dharm’. If need be, for ‘dharm raksha’ we will use weapons,” he had said.

While trying to justify his statement, Jain told  “We have not taken the law in our own hands, but we have issued threats to do so as our hands are being forced, our rights need to be protected.”
Jain, while speaking at the ‘Trishul Deeksha’ programme organised by the VHP in Manesar, claimed that Muslims illegally captured the land in Gurugram’s Bhora Kalan village. He alleged that the Muslim community in the area is trying to grab land and trying to commit “land jihad”. He also warned all the maulvis to “pack their belongings” and leave.
“I want to tell those maulvis, pack up your belongings or else the people of Manesar will not leave you… Ye Hindu rashtra tha, hai aur rahega,” he said.
