‘Making a living by selling MLAs’: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann lashes out at BJP, Congress ahead of Gujarat polls

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann  lashed out at the BJP and Congress, calling for the people of Gujarat to elect the Aam Aadmi Party to power. The two parties, he alleged, were engaged in the buying and selling of MLAs and could not be trusted. Delhi Chief Minister meanwhile contended that the BJP and Congress were holding ‘secret meetings’ to stop his party from winning the upcoming polls.
“BJP has got used to buying MLAs. Congress MLAs are engaged in the sale. The way people live in poverty by selling utensils. Similarly, Congress makes a living by selling its MLAs. Don’t trust Congress. Take a look at the change,” Mann asserted during a public event today.
Assembly elections for BJP-ruled Gujarat will be held by the end of this year.
“A government report has come, according to which AAP government is set to be formed with a huge majority in Gujarat. Secret meeting of BJP-Congress is happening…that somehow AAP must be stopped or else the loot will stop. If AAP government is formed, these people will make schools-hospitals…” jibed Kejriwal.
The AAP national convener and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann are on a two-day visit to poll-bound Gujarat from Saturday. They will jointly address four public meetings and Kejriwal will also hold a meeting with party leaders and workers during the trip. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and AAP’s Rajya Sabha member and co-incharge for Gujarat Raghav Chadha will also be in Gujarat during these two days.
