Actor-comedian Raju Srivastava has been admitted to Delhi’s AIIMS Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on August 10, 2022. For the unversed, he collapsed on the treadmill in a gym in South Delhi. His trainer quickly took him to the hospital, and since then, he has been on a ventilator.
Ever since the comedian got admitted to the hospital, his fans have been praying for his speedy recovery. Amidst all, Raju Srivastava’s brother Dipoo Srivastava, who is also a comedian shared an update about his health.
In an interview with PTI, Dipoo said that his elder brother is recovering slowly but continues to be unconscious. He added, “Raju is stable and on a ventilator, but he still remains unconscious.” Let us tell you, Raju Srivastava has been hospitalised since 35 days, and his brother has urged people to pray for him.
Dipoo Srivastava further added that they are not planning to shift Raju Srivastava to Mumbai, and decided to continue his treatment in AIIMS. He said that he will be taken home after he recovers.
Let us tell you, Raju Srivastava started his career as a comedy actor. He has featured in several Bollywood movies such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Khiladi and so on. After featuring in several movies, he started doing stand-up comedy shows. He was a contestant in the first season of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He is also the chairperson of the Film Development Council in Uttar Pradesh.
Raju Srivastava was also seen in the grand premiere episode of Lock Upp, hosted by Kangana Ranaut. He had a war of words with Munawar Faruqui on the stage. Many celebs prayed for his speedy recovery. Stay tuned for more updates!
