The much-anticipated Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles, was theatrically released on September 9, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Ever since, it hit the box office, the movie broke records on its opening day as it became the highest non-holiday day 1 grosser for a Bollywood film in net terms.
Apart from the lead stars, Mouni Roy also made her mark with her character Junoon. In the film, she shared the big screen with King Khan, who essayed the role of a scientist in the movie.
During a conversation with a news portal, the popular actress talked about her experience with the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan at the Brahmastra sets. She told News18, “He was someone I was completely amazed by. He was the most charming, intelligent and spontaneous human being and actor that I’ve met. Oh my god!”
She further added, “He’s brilliance personified. I used to have so many questions every single day, and I would just go and ask him. He was so kind to answer everything. He gives love to everyone around him and all of us were in awe of Shah Rukh sir.”
However, the Naagin actress also expressed her disappointment in not getting a chance to have a romantic scene with the undisputed king of Hindi cinema, but she is even more grateful for getting the chance to work with the Don.
Meanwhile, Mouni Roy has been showered with love and praise for her stunning performance in the superhero film, where she can be seen playing the antagonist role. Apart from her, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Shah Rukh Khan also essayed key roles in the movie.
Brahmastra has been backed by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. After releasing the first part, the makers of the film unveiled the title of the second instalment of the movie Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev.
