The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most loved comedy shows on Indian television and there is no denying it. Comedian Kapil Sharma and his team are all set to make the audience LOL again as they are returning with a new season of the show. Teasers of the same have been taking over the web these days.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will also be seen on the show with his Cuttputlli co-star Rakul Preet Singh. In a recent promo of the show, Akshay can be heard saying that Kapil is the reason why his films are not working.
The promo stars with the comedian saying that Rakul is doing a lot of films these days. To this, Akshay says, “Nazar lagayega ye aadmi.“
Later in the promo, the actor can be heard saying, “Yeh aadmi itni nazar lagata hai, sab cheezo pe. Dekho, meri filmon pe, paison pe nazar daal di. Ab filmein nahi chal rahi koi (This man had an evil eye on everything from my money to films and see now none of my movies are working).”
The Kapil Sharma Show is set to premiere on September 10 and it will air every weekend on Sony TV. Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, and Chandan Prabhakar will be returning to the show. Fans will also get to see some new faces including Srishty Rode.
On the movie front, Akshay has some interesting projects coming up. His OTT release Cuttputlli has been directed by Ranjit M. Tewari and produced by Pooja Entertainment. The actor also has Ram Setu, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, Soorarai Pottru remake and more movies in the pipeline.
