Jacqueline Fernandez shares insta post after ED names her accused in Rs 200 crore extortion case: ‘Dear me…I can do it’

After being identified in a chargesheet by the Enforcement Directorate in a 200 crore extortion case connected to imprisoned conman Sukesh Chandrashekar, actress Jacqueline Fernandez reshared a note titled “Dear me” posted by an Instagram community she runs that has 1.18 lakh followers.
“Dear me, I deserve all good things, I’m powerful, I accept myself, it’ll all be okay. I’m strong, I will achieve my goals and dreams, I can do it,” Jacqueline Fernandez posted.
The Enforcement Directorate, or ED, which is looking into a money trail in the Chandrashekar-related extortion case, has implicated the actress in a supplementary chargesheet that was submitted to a Delhi court.
The Delhi Police detained Chandrashekar on suspicion of extorting 215 crore from Aditi Singh and Shivinder Singh, the former promoters of pharmaceutical behemoth Ranbaxy.
The first occurrence of Jacqueline’s Instagram story post was on the account “SheRoxworld”, which she manages and has 1.18 lakh followers. “SheRox is a safe space made by us, all for you. A place where everyone belongs and is invited to find the magic within,” the account’s description reads.
According to sources with the investigation agency, Jacqueline was aware that the presents were obtained through extortion. Pinky Irani, a longstanding friend and co-accused in this case, was instructed by Chandrasekhar to deliver the gifts to the actress.
Sri Lankan-born Jacqueline Fernandez made her debut in the Hindi film business in 2009. Eight people, including Chandrasekar’s wife Leena Maria Paul, have been detained thus far in connection with the investigation.
