Naga Chaitanya says he’s a ‘wreck’ on the day of his film’s release, reveals getting severe ‘anxiety problems’

Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha may or may not have managed to woo the audience, but everyone seems to be bowled over by Naga Chaitanya’s performance. The actor made his Bollywood debut with Khan’s film and has been winning rave reviews for his performance in it.
And while many celebs flock the theatres to watch the audiences’ reaction to their film, Naga reveals he never does that. The Love Story actor has revealed that he gets anxiety problems and is an absolute wreck on the day of his film’s release.
“A lot of people go for the first day. I can’t because I am a wreck. I have severe anxiety problems on the day the film is releasing. It’s like what if they don’t respond, what if they don’t laugh, what if they get up and go away,” he said in an interview.
The actor also added that his debut film – Josh – was the only film he went to watch on the first day. Chaitanya added that the film did well eventually but not at the beginning. The Majili actor revealed that he saw people leaving the theatres and walking out before the film had finished. And that was the experience that hit him hard.
“That experience scarred me but it also taught me a lot. After that film, I have never gone back to the theatre to experience that because I just have that memory in my head but I do want to break it one day,” he told Mashable India in an interview.
Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna had also heaped praise on Laal Singh Chaddha and Naga’s performance in it. He opined that he saw his son growing as an actor in the film. Laal Singh Chaddha managed to mint Rs 12 crore on day 1 at the box office.
