One of the most popular names in the South Indian film industry, Vijay Deverakonda is now set to make his debut in the Hindi film industry with the upcoming movie Liger. The actor who commands a huge fan following has now become a household name in the country. As the Dear Comrade actor is making his Bollywood debut under Dharma Productions’ project, the actor is being flooded with offers from the biggest names in the Hindi film industry but reportedly, Vijay has been refusing all of them.
Vijay Deverakonda has reportedly been refusing offers from the biggest names in Bollywood as he does not want to rush into anything and wants to see the audience’s reaction to his debut Bollywood film Liger.
According to a report in a publication, Vijay Deverakonda wants to “analyse all his moves” before signing his next Bollywood movie. A source told BollywoodLife, “Vijay Deverakonda has received a lot of offers from Bollywood directors but he has politely declined the offers. He first wants to gauge audiences’ reactions to Liger. He wants to know how the audience reacts to it, what changes he needs to make and what preparations he needs to do in order to take up more or Bollywood projects.”
Talking about the movie, Liger is an upcoming sports action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The trailer of the movie was released a few days back and it sent fans into a frenzy. Other than Vijay, the film stars Ananya Panday in the female lead and Baahubali actress Ramya Krishnan in a pivotal role. Ronit Roy will also be witnessed essaying an important role in the movie.
Set to hit the theatres on August 25, 2022, Liger will also feature American boxer Mike Tyson in an extended cameo role.
Meanwhile, other than Liger, Vijay Deverakonda will also feature in a lead role in Kushi and Jana Gana Mana.
