Naga Chaitanya has remained in the headlines for making his big Bollywood debut with Laal Singh Chaddha as well as for gossip about his personal life. While his fans are eager to watch him share the screen space with Aamir Khan, a lot is being said about his unsuccessful marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu as well.
The Premam actor, who has been on a promotional spree for the Advait Chandan directorial, recently opened up about how the chatter regarding his personal matters takes a toll on him and impacts his professional life.
Stating that he does not let any sort of gossip interfere with his work, Naga admitted that it does get ‘frustrating’ when personal matters are discussed more than his films.
I have sort of built myself to not let my personal life affect my professional life. But obviously when the personal life is put in the forefront, it becomes the headline more than your professional life. That gets really frustrating. You don’t want people to connect your personal life to your professional life because I don’t connect it and I have created a very clear barrier between the both,” Naga told BollywoodLife.com.
He continued, “It is sad sometimes to see out of nowhere they are connecting my personal life to my films, what someone said and what happened. But unfortunately, that’s the way it is today, news replaces news, so I just teach myself to keep working harder at my work and made sure my work shines. And eventually it will.”
Naga’s divorce with Samantha became a trending topic post latter’s appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 7 where she spoke about them not being on cordial terms.
Meanwhile, speaking of Naga’s maiden Hindi film Laal Singh Chaddha, it also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh and will release on August 11.
