In the recent past, several big-budget Bollywood films have tanked at the box office. Even superstar Akshay Kumar, who’s considered one the most bankable stars of the Hindi film industry, failed to pull audiences to the cinema halls with his last release Samrat Prithviraj. Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff’s Heorpanti 2 also turned out to be a box office dud.
Recently, a report by an entertainment portal claimed that Akshay and Tiger have slashed their fees for their much-awaited film – Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The article said that the makers of the flick were facing budgeting issues and hence, the leading stars had to take a pay cut.
On Tuesday, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan producer Jackky Bhagnnai took to his official Twitter handle to set the record straight. He slammed the baseless rumours and clarified that the film will be packed with Dhamaka as promised earlier.
Reacting to the report, he tweeted, “Absolutely Incorrect!! Source-The Producer ( i am sure i am reliable ) Get ready for this action packed Dhamaka which was always on track.”
It is safe to say that despite the failure of Akshay and Tiger’s last films, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is one of the most awaited movies of 2023. It was announced earlier this year with a high-octane teaser. “Double Action, Double Dhamaka!! Ready Bade…toh khiladiyo ki tarah dikhaye heropanti? So excited to present to you all, the Biggest action entertainer ever #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan” Tiger had written
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie is all set to hit the screens in December 2023.
Meanwhile, Akshay and Tiger have several other individual projects in the kitty. The Sooryavanshi actor will soon be seen in Raksha Bandhan with Bhumi Pednekar. He also has Ram Setu, Selfie, Mission Cindrella and other movies in the pipeline. Tiger, on the other hand, has Ganapath and Screw Dheela.
