WI vs Ind: Luggage delay forces delay in start time of 2nd T20I, match to begin at 10:00PM IST

Due to a delay in the arrival of crucial team luggage, the second T20I between India and West Indies will have a delayed start. The match will start two hours later than originally scheduled and now kick off at 10:00 PM IST after originally stated to begin at 8:00 PM IST.
The second and third T20I of the five-match series are scheduled to take place at the Werner Park in St. Kitts on Monday (August 1) and Tuesday (August 2) respectively. Following these two games, the two teams are scheduled to travel to the United States of America (USA) for the last two games over the weekend in Florida.
“Due to circumstances beyond CWI’s control, there have been significant delays in crucial team luggage arriving into St Kitts from Trinidad. As a result, today’s match 2nd Goldmedal T20 Cup match is due to start at 12:30 pm (11:30am Jamaica/10pm India). CWI regrets any inconvenience caused to our valued fans, sponsors, broadcast partners and all other stakeholders,” Cricket West Indies (CWI) said in a statement on their official website.
The Indian team are leading the series after winning the first game at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium by a comprehensive margin of 68 runs. Skipper Rohit Sharma led the way for the Men in Blue with a fine knock of 64 runs in 44 balls. Dinesh Karthik played a fine cameo in which scored 41 runs in just 19 balls to help India put up a huge total of 190 on the board.
The West Indies batters failed to mount a challenge as the Men in Blue had a comfortable outing. Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravi Bishnoi, and Arshdeep Singh took two wickets each while Bhuvneshwar Kumar also chipped in with one scalp.
Earlier, a second string Indian side led by Shikhar Dhawan won the ODI series 3-0.
