Sangita Ghosh is one of the most popular faces in the Indian Television industry. She is currently playing the lead role of Swaran Bedi in the TV show Swaran Ghar. Well, the actress seems to be in a very content place right now given her personal and professional developments.
Sangita, who suffered a miscarriage a few years back, is mother to a 7-month-old baby girl. She along with her husband entrepreneur Rajvi Shailender Singh named their daughter Devi. Recently, during a conversation with a publication, Sangita shared this happy news and also talked about the difficulties her daughter had to go through for being a premature baby.
Sangita told ETimes during a conversation, “Devi was born prematurely on December 25 last year. It was an anxious time, as she had issues being a premature baby and was in the NICU for 15-odd days. It’s not that we hid the news, but we decided not to talk about it till we felt the time was right.”
She further talked about how hard it is for the actress to leave behind her baby for the shoot of her show. Sangita was quoted saying by the publication, “I was in two minds about taking up the show, but my husband supported me and told me that he was there for the baby. That kind of support and confidence was overwhelming.”
The Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand actress also shared her feelings on how she was scarred by her miscarriage that happened back in 2015. She said, “I can’t explain how bad the experience was. I couldn’t believe it and kept wondering mere saath aise kaise ho gaya. Imagine losing a life that’s growing inside you.”
Sangita Ghosh’s baby girl will turn seven months old on July 25 this year.
